Stavroula Maglavera focuses on high-level international coordination, on strategic developments and on policy research dialogue and analysis.
She is specialised in the field of Information Communication Technologies (ICT) and she gained expertise on designing and executing international scale events in ICT. Her skills encompass exploitation, promotion, and dissemination of technology, and IPR issues. With more than twenty-eight years of hands-on experience in International, European, National & Regionally funded programmes and in project management, she still maintains an active interest on design and implementation of research projects in the field on ICT for different sectors such as Next Generation Internet, 5G, ICT for Health, e-Inclusion, e-Government. Participates is several research projects including SMARTFIRE, FLEX, EINS, MAZI and CHIC projects.
She is involved in scientific and business committees. She serves as reviewer for several other scientific journals and conferences. She has excellent knowledge of European Research Policy and she is highly involved in international cooperation and the policy dialogue of research agendas worldwide. She is involved in the implementation of projects on Collective Awareness Platforms for sustainability and social Innovation and through her involvement in CHIC, she was responsible for the Digital Social Innovation Manifesto.
